beginning, God creates אֵ֥ת heavens & earth, earth תֹ֙הוּ֙ וָבֹ֔הוּ Tohu vaVohu, darkness on the surface of the deep, Spirit of God hovering on the surface of the water, day 1 God speaks light into existence then divides between light & darkness, day 2 rakia/sky/firmament divides between waters above & waters below, day 3 waters below gather and dry land appears then earth brings forth vegetation, day 4 God places luminaries in the rakia to signal moadim & days & years - sun & moon & stars to divide between light & darkness, day 5 fish & birds, day 6 animals then man male and female in image of God, God tells man to be fruitful & multiply & rule the earth, God gives man and animals plants bearing seed and fruit for food, Shabbat, generations of the heavens & the earth in their creation, generations of plants before they grew in earth, God forms the man from dirt then breathes life into him, God plants Gan Eden with trees, river from Eden waters the garden then separates into 4 branches, God places man in the garden to work and keep it, God commands the man to eat of every tree except the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, God forms animals and brings them to the man to name, God builds woman from rib/side of the man, serpent twists words of God by mixing lies with truth, woman then man eat from tree of knowledge of good & bad, man and woman hide from God, God asks "Who told you that you are naked?", punishment & banishment from Gan Eden, cherubim guard tree of life, Cain & Abel, 10 generations from Adam to Noah, prelude to the flood with Nephilim & sons of God mixing with daughters of man and evil of man, HaShem decides to wipe out man, Noah finds grace in the eyes of God

Noah is a righteous man in his generations and walks with God, God decrees the flood and directs Noah to make the Ark, Noah follows instructions, final boarding call, flood inundates the earth for 40 days, waters prevail on earth for 150 days, Ark comes to rest on the mountains of Ararat and waters recede for 40 days, Noah sends forth raven once then dove 3 times (dove returns with nothing then olive leaf then does not return as the earth dries), command to leave the Ark, Noah builds an altar to HaShem and brings offerings, God's covenant with Noah to not continue to curse the earth on account of man and to not again destroy the earth by flood, rainbow as sign of everlasting covenant, Noah plants a vineyard, intoxication & shame of Noah, Noah foretells destiny of his sons Shem & Ham/Canaan & Yafet, 70 nations descend from Noah, Nimrod the mighty hunter descendant of Ham/Cush, Tower of Babel, dispersion, 10 generations from Noah to Abraham

Isaiah 54:1 - 55:5

rejoice barren woman whose seed will spread throughout nations, as God has sworn that waters of Noah will no more go over the earth He will redeem with everlasting love, the new glory of Jerusalem, listening to God is free & priceless water & wine & milk that satisfies & delights & gives life to the soul, eternal Davidic covenant to call and lead nations for the glory of God

Yochanan the immerser prepares the way, immersion of Yeshua then Spirit of God descends on him, Yeshua is led by Ruach HaKodesh/the Holy Spirit into the desert where he fasts for 40 days then overcomes temptation by the accuser by knowing truth of Word of God, Yeshua begins to preach and calls his first talmidim/students/disciples, Yeshua heals the sick and large crowds follow him

"The people dwelling in the darkness

have seen great light;

and dwellers on earth and in shadows of death,

light has shined upon them."

Messiah died once for our sins, righteous to bring unrighteous to God, died in body and lived in spirit, proclaimed to souls detained in Sheol which were disobedient in days of Noah when only 8 souls entered ark and were saved in water, we are saved by immersion when confess God with pure conscience and by the resurrection of Yeshua the Messiah

בראשית יב:א - יז:כז

Genesis 12:1 - 17:27

God's call and promise to Avram of seed & land & being a blessing to all nations, Avram crosses over from Haran to land of Canaan, Avram and his wife Sarai go to Egypt because of famine, God protects Sarai from Pharoah even though Avram presents her as his sister, they return to Canaan with great wealth then Avram and Lot part ways, HaShem repeats promise of land & offspring to Avram, war of 4 northern kings vs 5 southern kings, the 4 kings defeat Sodom and take Lot captive, Avram with 318 apprentices rescue Lot plus recover other people and possessions, Malki-Tzedek king of Shalem & priest of God the Most High brings out bread & wine then blesses Avram, Avram gives Malki-Tzedek a tenth of all, God reassures Avram that he will have natural seed like the stars of heaven, Brit Bein HaBetarim/Covenant Between the Parts, prophecy of 400 year exile and return of 4th generation, Hagar and birth of Yishmael, everlasting covenant of circumcision, blessing of new names & destiny for Avraham & Sarah to give rise to multitude of descendants, God promises to bless Yishmael and establish everlasting covenant with Yitzchak who Sarah will bear to Avraham

בראשית יח:א - כב:כד

Genesis 18:1 - 22:24

HaShem appears to Avraham after his circumcision, Avraham sees and shows hospitality to 3 divine strangers, HaShem promises that Sarah will have a son, Avraham intercedes for Sodom, HaShem departs and the two angels come to Sodom to save Lot & his family, Sodom is destroyed, Lot's wife looks back and becomes a pillar of salt, Lot & his daughters go up to the mountain and give rise to the nations of Moav & Ammon, Avraham and Sarah sojourn in Gerar, King Avimelekh takes Sarah when Avraham says she is his sister then returns her untouched after God visits him in a dream, Sarah gives birth to Yitzchak, at Sarah's bidding and with God's approval Avraham sends Hagar & Yishmael away, God saves Yishmael and promises to make him a great nation, Avraham & Avimelekh form an alliance at Beer-Sheva, God tests Avraham with the Akeida/binding of Yitzchak on Mount Moriah, God provides a ram in place of Yitzchak, God blesses Avraham for his faithfulness, Avraham returns to Beer-Sheva but Yitzchak is not mentioned as being there again until he meets his bride two chapters later, sons of Nachor (younger brother of Avraham)

"And Abraham named that place HaShem yireh/will see;

that it will be said today

on the mountain of HaShem it will appear."

Genesis 22:14

2 Kings 4:1-37

a widow in distress calls out to Elisha, oil from one small jug fills all the vessels that Elisha directs the widow to gather from her neighbors, a childless woman from Shunem shows great hospitality to Elisha who then tells her she will have a son, the son is born but later suddenly dies as a child, the woman rushes to find Elisha, Elisha sends his servant with his staff but the boy is not awakened, Elisha goes to the boy and prays to God then lays on the body, the boy warms and revives, the Shunammite woman falls at Elisha's feet then takes up her son

Yeshua teaches us to give to the needy quietly, pray the Lord's prayer, fast in secret, prioritize storing up treasures in heaven over those on earth, not worry about material concerns, avoid judging others, ask seek knock in pursuit of good gifts from God, do to others as you would have them do to you, enter through the narrow gate, discern true vs false prophets and talmidim as knowing a tree by its fruit, be wise by hearing his words and putting them into practice

Sarah dies at age 127, Avraham purchases a burial site in Hevron, Avraham sends his servant to his homeland in Haran to find a wife for Yitzchak, when Eliezer asks for water Rivkah meets his criteria by offering to also water his camels, Rivkah is granddaughter of Nachor (younger brother of Avraham) and her brother is Lavan, Eliezer tells his story to Rivkah's family and they agree to let her go, Yitzchak is out in field in evening and sees Rivkah coming then takes her as his wife and loves her, Avraham marries Keturah who bears him six more children, Avraham dies at age 175 and is gathered to his people, Yitzchak & Yishmael bury Avraham with Sarah in cave in field purchased from children of Chet, the 12 sons of Yishmael, Yishmael dies at age 137

Yeshua cleanses a man with leprosy, heals the paralyzed servant of a centurion who shows great faith, removes fever from Peter's mother, casts out demons and afflictions from many, urges a scribe to follow him, calms a storm at sea, sends demons from men into pigs that then drown themselves in water, forgives a paralytic then tells him to arise, calls Matthew the tax collector to be his talmid, teaches about fasting and pouring new wine into new wineskins, stops the chronic bleeding of a woman who touches the edge of his clothes, raises a dead girl, gives sight to two blind men, frees a mute man from a demon, goes through towns teaching in synagogues & proclaiming the good news of the Kingdom & healing every disease & encouraging workers in the harvest

Judah approaches Yosef and offers himself in place of Binyamin for the sake of their father, Yosef identifies himself to his brothers, Yosef invites Yaakov to stay in Goshen, the brothers kiss & weep, Pharaoh joins Yosef in sending the brothers off with gifts, Yaakov's spirit is revived to again being called Yisrael/Israel when he hears Yosef lives, Yaakov journeys to Egypt and his family includes 70, Yaakov & Yosef reunite, Yaakov & family settle in Goshen with support from Pharaoh and provisions from Yosef, Yosef acquires money then livestock then property from Egyptians in exchange for food, Pharaoh acquires all land except that of priests and recieves a fifth of produce from his serfs, Israel is fruitful and multiplies in Goshen

after 17 years living in Egypt Yaakov at age 147 calls for Yosef when he is about to die, Yosef promises to bury Yisrael (name of Yaakov when spiritually elevated) with his fathers, Yisrael switches hands to put Efraim before his older brother Menasheh as he blesses Yosef's two sons as his own, Yaakov prophetically blesses Reuven & Shimon & Levi & Judah (first mention of Shiloh/Messiah) & Zevulun & Issachar & Dan & Gad & Asher & Naftali & Yosef & Benyamin, Yisrael instructs all his sons to bury him in Canaan then expires and is gathered to his people (glimpse of ongoing life), Yosef mourns Yaakov and has him embalmed, Yosef along with a great procession from Egypt buries his father in the cave in the field of Machpelah near Hevron (previously bought by Avraham), brothers fear Yosef will take revenge, Yosef reassures his brothers that God intended their sale of him for good, Yosef lives to see grandchildren then dies at age 110, Yosef is embalmed and placed in a coffin in Egypt after asking his brothers to bring his bones when God raises them to the promised land
