I'm thinking of the Word of God as a thriving thicket filled with lush layers of interwoven vegetation.
I'm thinking of various theologies as gardeners, pruning plants into neat rows, removing shrubs that interfere with their design, and often splitting branches from roots.
Let's appreciate that every leaf of every tree is nourished by water and seeks light.
Let's open our hearts to every word as we explore the thicket together.
