I'm envisioning God throwing us a lifeline from the heavens
This rope is His Word
Letters from the spiritual realm that we can hold
I've never been able to do pull ups or climb a rope
Even top Torah scholars fluent in Hebrew don't get very far
Compared to the vast distance from us to Beyond
What matters is the connection
We all depend on the Holy Spirit to elevate us
As we cling to the Word... individually and together
מִי־לִ֥י בַשָּׁמָ֑יִם
וְ֝עִמְּךָ֗ לֹֽא־חָפַ֥צְתִּי בָאָֽרֶץ
תהילים עג:כה
"Who is there for me in the heavens?
And with You, I desire nothing on the earth."
Psalms 73:25
מְקִ֥ימִ֣י מֵעָפָ֣ר דָּ֑ל
מֵ֝אַשְׁפֹּ֗ת יָרִ֥ים אֶבְיֽוֹן
תהילים קיג:ז
"He who raises me from poor dirt;
will lift the needy from ash heaps."
Psalms 113:7
